Service Description

Wi-Fi optimization in Atlanta by Patch Side — a personal home tech help service, not the gaming website patchside.com. I improve your wireless network so streaming, gaming, video calls, and smart home devices stay connected without dead zones, random drops, or slowdowns that don't make sense. What's included: Walkthrough of your current router, mesh nodes, or access points, placement assessment for signal coverage, band and channel settings review, device connection audit and priority configuration (QoS where supported), performance testing in problem areas throughout the home, and a clear summary of what was changed and why before I leave. If your hardware is limiting results, I'll give you a clear recommendation with options at different price points. What it's good for: Apartments and condos with signal blocked by thick walls, townhomes where the router is on the wrong floor, larger homes with dead zones in back rooms or upstairs, and any setup where adding more devices or users has made things worse. Also the right booking after switching internet providers, moving a router, or adding a mesh node that didn't fix the problem. Supported hardware: Eero, Google Nest WiFi, Orbi, TP-Link Deco, ASUS, Linksys Velop, Netgear, and most major consumer routers and mesh systems. ISP-provided gateways are also supported. Where I serve: Buckhead, Midtown, Decatur, Sandy Springs, Smyrna, Vinings, Dunwoody, Brookhaven, and surrounding Atlanta neighborhoods. Common questions: — Do I need new equipment? Not necessarily. I'll assess what you have first. Most setups improve through placement and settings changes before buying anything new. — What if I do need new hardware? I'll give you a clear recommendation with cost range. Purchasing and configuring new equipment is available as an add-on. — Is Ethernet wiring included? Basic guidance on Ethernet placement is included. Running new cable through walls is a separate scope. — How long does it take? Usually 60–90 minutes depending on the size of the home and number of devices tested. Rate: $249. Book online in minutes.
